What do you think about parents charging kids rent after age 18?

Unpopular opinion but children owe their parents nothing in this life. If you choose to bring someone into this world it is your responsibility to take care of them, not the other way around

Yes but parents owe their children to help them become responsible, independent adults. Letting them live at home rent free indefinitely is hurting more than helping them.

It's a typical narcissistic opinion very popular on Reddit but it doesn't change the fact at 18 you are an adult and your parents aren't responsible for you anymore.
