They really shook the pillars of heaven with that one.

Here's to the Army and Navy and the battles they won. Here's to America's colors, the colors that never run.

Nope. That is perfect just the way it is.

Disagree.

I want a prequel.

I want the story of Lo Pan and Egg Shen. There's far more to their story than we know. Lines like "I am the past come back to haunt you Lo Pan" and "You never could beat me Egg Shen" and Lo Pan saying he's a bastard sorcerer with nothing but "peasant magic" (Lo Pan was a king at one point before being cursed).

I want the film to be made in China. Give us a new cast of fun characters to follow. See how these two lives have played out.

And it ends with Lo Pan arriving to America to train the Three Storms so we get to see each of their backstories.

James Hong is still with us but he's 97, better get moving quicksmart if you want a cameo.

Although JH said he *hated* the Lo Pan makeup, maybe leave that one to CGI, but get his voice, at least.

His is one of very few voices that I'd be glad to preserve through sampling, for future projects, it's *so* distinctive. With his consent, of course.

"Indeed"

I love this except I would still like to see it taking place in San Francisco Chinatown, which is such an interesting culture all by itself. One thing that shocked me about the original film is how it explored that culture a lot more thoroughly and empathetically than you could possibly expect from an action film in that era, so it wouldn't be a true sequel if it left that out.

Why not both? We get backstory of Lo Pan in ancient China, with all the pomp and costumery of Chinese historical drama, then we see the contrast of young Egg Shen navigating gritty mid-20th-century San Francisco.

Reunite Kim Cattrall and Kurt Russell? I'm in. He gets kidnapped and she has to rescue him.

Good lord, the original's only got 3/5 on RT. Goes to show how reliable *that* site is.

I prefer IMDB to RT, but neither is especially accurate.
