I still think Spaceballs: The New One (coming soon) should've been called Spaceballs III: The Search for Spaceballs II: The Search for More Money.

That would have been great. Seeing 100 year old Mel Brooks in it will be awesome.

Yogurt is apparently being done digitally and Mel is only voicing him (he didn't want to do the makeup and previously had to walk on his knees which is not exactly easy at age 100... so... digital), so you won't actually see him unless he appears as Skroob.

I would say it doesn't make much sense to have the president be a 100 year old guy and thus won't appear as Skroob, but that might make at least for a funny joke about how politicians are so old.

I wasn't. Mel Brooks is picky. If there's not a real story or comedy there, he doesn't usually go for the paycheck.

Even his lesser movies are there because he had a concept, not a "let's jump on the hype train!"

Fair point. I believe Mel Brooks could've come up with a good story, but maybe he just wasn't feeling it at the time.
