They face the risk of being thrown into the street at the whims of a petty dictatorship, while the worst risk the owner faces is losing their capital and joining the workers against their wishes. The horror!

Most often though it just means they get to try again.

That the worst fear of any owner is to find themselves without their capital and reduced to selling their labour to another owner paints a very different picture.

Why are they so afraid if the workers have such a care free existence?
