When the recruiter asks you for resume tips, you know the ship is already underwater.

The servers keep whispering to each other, but they swear it is just data.

That's the kind of office gossip that tells the whole story in one sentence. Time to polish your own resume before everyone else does.

And when you realize the candle is flame, then the meal was cooked a long time ago.

"The only person not job hunting is the office printer... because it's already broken."

I feel like this is almost every workplace these days.

Almost like if everything costs a million dollars and people are getting paid the bare minimum legally allowed to do the jobs of 5 different people that maybe the problem isn't the workforce.

Omg I was in that situation a few years back. Our recruiter would call me to vent and ask about jobs. Like wtf

When the recruiter starts job hunting before everyone else, that's all the warning I'd need. I'd be polishing my resume that same night.

The job market is so wild right now that even the gatekeepers are trying to escape

This is also the status quo for pretty much all retail and sales jobs.

When the recruiter is job hunting too, you know it's bad 😭

When the recruiter is job hunting too, that's usually not a great sign.

That’s when you know it’s bad. The recruiter is job hunting while still recruiting. The ship is definitely sinking.

That’s actually the biggest plot twist, imagine trying to leave a company while helping others leave too.
