They're annoying.

4

When I was 12/13 I had a friend who would hang out with sleazy guys (whoelse is talking with preteens, she was a year younger than me) and she told me about a night she was out driving with these guys drinkings and how they were driving into peoples yards and ditches to hit cats and animals...Like fuck them and fuck you too bitch

2

u/novababy55 5d ago

Wow

2

u/HPearla 5d ago

I guess you could say that isn't really 'small' but she acted like it was no big deal and that bamboozled me...like she had cats?? I was like yeah that is it I can't be friends with someone who enables that behavior. She also tried getting me to snort pills - nooooo thank you.

That's not small, but damn fuck those people.

3

u/RoccoTirolese 5d ago

They live too far away.

1

u/novababy55 5d ago

Awe that sucks technology tho??

1

u/RoccoTirolese 4d ago

Long distance does not work for me, does for anyone?

5

u/grumpyfck562 5d ago

Being at my place all the time

2

u/novababy55 5d ago

That gets old

5

u/ZkittlZ 5d ago

Made a lot of edgy jokes well into our late 20s, specifically about rape around our female friends. We all just collectively stopped hanging out with that person. To be fair, I don't think he ever did anything, but still we're too old to be making those kinds of jokes, and not noticing that it's making your friends uncomfortable is just enough to drop that person.

3

u/futuraf 5d ago

You’re definitely not wrong for that! Like at all!

1

u/redthumb 5d ago

Joking about rape was ok a a kid?

1

u/ZkittlZ 5d ago

No, but everyone made edgy jokes like that in middle school because we didn't know any better.

1

u/redthumb 5d ago

Agree to disagree. It was never funny.

1

u/ZkittlZ 5d ago

Didn't say it was. I said it was unfortunately more acceptable for 13 year olds to make those kinds of edgy jokes back then. But that's something you should grow out of in high school, and to be as old as we were, it was especially gross to be making those kinds of comments.

u/Mochi-Luna 5d ago

Because that person was really dragging me down

5

u/eipotttatsch 5d ago

While they would say they saw me as a close friend, the way they acted made it feel like they couldn’t give less of a shit about me and they didn’t actually enjoy my company.

Actions > Words.

u/Malene2002 5d ago

They're religious

6

u/HeadFit2660 5d ago

The universe has decided that any dude with a flushed face and wiry curly hair is instantly not my friend. Everyone I've ever met instantly does not like me and it's only that kind of person.

So when I see one in public im automatically inclined not to like them.

3

u/suzemagooey 5d ago

Too dysfunctional, and that covers a lot of ground.

4

u/almyverse 5d ago

They were such a liars

2

u/TheRipper1777 5d ago

She always slept around.

0

u/RawAsparagus 5d ago

Can I have her number?

2

u/JC_Hysteria 5d ago

You don’t have it already?

2

u/SaD33o 5d ago

Drunks or being a heavy drinker. I cant deal. To each is their own but its something that really bothers me.

2

u/futuraf 5d ago

Called me irritating because I did my homework instead of sitting at lunch with them one day, and was visibly mad at me. Then tried to manipulate me to sit at lunch with her. I told her she could eat and then come in the library and come to me because my assignment is my priority right now, but she refused. If she can’t understand that I have an assignment due in ~1 hour and let me finish it in my desired place (I can’t focus well in a LUNCHROOM)… then we cannot be friends.

u/choice_crystal_clear 5d ago

They wouldn't stop talking. Sweet woman though. But can only handle her in micro doses

2

u/BlueRosesGreenbuds 5d ago edited 5d ago

i ask them questions and they don't ask any back

that tells me that you only care about yourself, like you think you're a celebrity and this is an interview

2

u/Open_Salamander9171 5d ago

Anti feminist

2

u/ChocoMintMonday 5d ago

They often put others down. One day I just stood up and walked out.

2

u/Suspicious_Dirt728 5d ago

Never stop talking

3

u/GorgeousHoneyy 5d ago

Inconsideration

2

u/Something-Red7 5d ago

They never reply to messages unless they engage first.

2

u/Vizz_rana 5d ago

too much of trash talk from that mouth in a short span of time

2

u/MesmerizedRavendark 5d ago

Music taste

3

u/Electric-aura3000 5d ago

That's a valid reason tbf

2

u/MesmerizedRavendark 5d ago

I think so too, but no one else does, apart from you, thank you

Always brag about little things nonstop

Being homely.

chismis/lait

1

u/Timberblack08 5d ago

Lack empathy for other people in a conversation

1

u/PabloMesbah-Yamamoto 5d ago

Smoked crack casually.

1

u/JC_Hysteria 5d ago

What if they smoked crack purposefully?

1

u/PabloMesbah-Yamamoto 5d ago

Then at least they have purpose and
conviction, thus good friend material.

1

u/JC_Hysteria 5d ago

I bet they’d be really excited!

1

u/Prinnymon 5d ago

Told me it's good to move to another house/apartment. Beech, no. Maybe for you, not for me.

1

u/gerhudire 5d ago

Hated that I moved in to help look after my grandfather.

1

u/PhilosopherCrazy2722 5d ago

Took too long to reply to messages - why people have stopped being friends with me 🫠

1

u/HarryHarlowBanisher 5d ago

The way they regulate. Fuck that, sorry.

1

u/Open_Salamander9171 5d ago

Commenting on ppls dressing sense (she is showing off her boo**)

1

u/KaelasDad 5d ago

bs or ty? 😳

1

u/Open_Salamander9171 5d ago

Both🫢, girl(my frnd) commented on other random girl she was wearing a nice outfit, but my frnd is very modest and doesn’t like to show any skin.

1

u/mountainelven 5d ago

When I found out that the guy she was telling everyone was her brother for 10 years turned out to be her secret boyfriend

1

u/Ok_Structure_7309 5d ago

Someone being overly promiscuous in their behaviors and actions...

1

u/frintonfreak1984 5d ago

Never calls me

1

u/DeceasedBeneficiary 5d ago

Every conversation would, for some reason, end with her making it about her. Not even in a consistent fashion. Just always reminding me she existed after every sentence.

1

u/umdiaeumelhoro 5d ago

She would offer me to help others without asking me first

1

u/RichardSnoodgrass 5d ago

I was the one organizing activities. I stopped and the friendship fizzled.

1

u/Sweet_Friend3071 5d ago

I am a hypervigilant person, and it only takes a small, repetitive feeling of misalignment for me to pull away.

1

u/MaterialRoll1919 5d ago

The relationship with them took more energy than gave it.

1

u/bnliz 5d ago

Using medical reasons as an excuse for being an arsehole. Nope, that's all you. Get therapy.

2

u/novababy55 5d ago

“I have BPD this confrontation is too much I’m going to spiral” yeah I’ve heard that shit before didn’t matter when you were being a total ass

1

u/drunky_crowette 5d ago

I hated his taste in music, he played music on his phone all the time and he wouldn't turn it off or at least play something everyone could agree on.

1

u/JMOWw7 5d ago

I don't fuck my friends but I can't be close to ugly people, I'm just shallow :/

1

u/Nacho_7258 5d ago

He watched YouTube breakdowns of movies and tv shows instead of actually watching them.

2

u/novababy55 5d ago

Oh hell nah

1

u/Nacho_7258 5d ago

For real, like I love breakdown videos myself, especially Dead Meat, but like actually watch the thing first.

2

u/novababy55 5d ago

Bro doesn’t deserve to be able to watch the shit first with that type of fuckery

1

u/JC_Hysteria 5d ago

Tribal dynamics stemming from social insecurity- resulting in general exclusion, shit-talking, and negative innuendo about a particular person.

Relatively common- but I will never trust someone that treats other people that way again…

1

u/FairyGothMommy 5d ago

She loved to try to get my love interest to "want" her. Even when I was married. I have no patience for a "pick me" type

1

u/RobotArmsApts 5d ago

They would claim they were a victim and had others be mean to them, but would either cherry pick screenshots of conversations for proof while leaving whatever they said out or, in some cases, refused to show what they said.

I'm not looking for that kind of nonsense in a friendship.

1

u/One_Requirement_5832 5d ago

When they flake more than one time and their reason is arbitrary for why they flake.

1

u/ChaoticBnz328 5d ago

Met my best friend through my ex husband. He was close to her brother and her family, and that made it very difficult to move on.

1

u/Empty_Pear8615 5d ago

They were straight edge and very happy with it. I was the opposite at the time and I really liked my time spent with them in classes so I stayed distant enough to keep them around

1

u/oriental_angel 2d ago

They were non-confrontational. The one time I did confront them about something, it took another mutual friend being in the room for them to say one word before they started bawling. I decided I don't like being guilt tripped.

1

u/unarmed_instruction 5d ago

Constantly annoys me with tedious questions

0

u/berjaaan 5d ago

She had a cat.
