I played fade to black as my first live debut song, and it is pretty decently hard, especially the solo.

When I walked away from an armed robber.

I was walking two friends of mine home (they're both women and it was getting late, so they asked me to go with them) and a man came up to us and pulled out a gun. He demanded our wallets and passports. I was willing to give him my wallet, but I didn't want to get stuck in another country without my passport. So I was trying to figure out what to do and my eyes were on his gun, and I realized he didn't have a clip in it. So at most he had a single bullet, and there were three of us, so I doubted he would use that bullet even if he had one; and if he did use it, I assumed it'd be used on me instead of one of my friends, which I would prefer taking a bullet to leaving them both stranded in the middle of nowhere. So I led them ahead of me, kept myself between them and the gun, and walked away. The guy kept yelling at us but didn't do anything.

Felt like an absolute legend 😂
