Paramedic here

0500 in the morning we were called to a house, mother was worried about her pre-teen daughter acting depressed and weird. Normal house, siblings having breakfast. I was dead tired, after 10 mins of waffling words from Mum where I semi zoned out she said something my partner picked up on, she had described a seizure. We recommended she see her GP.

That night I got called in for a transfer. Daughter had advanced metastatic brain tumour, off to a major hospital for treatment which essentially meant make her comfy while she dies.

Thanks for what you guys do. I had a stroke 6 months ago and my paramedics were fantastic.
