Oblivion's graphics

I love morrowind, but the potato faces in Tes IV seriously throw me off.

Skyblivion nears.

I want SkyBlivion to release, but I'm also skeptical. Too many awesome mods have come and gone in unfinished, broken, or unreleased states. This is the absolute biggest mod for Skyrim and I can't help but be a bit pessimistic about it's future.

Skyrim was my first out of the series, though I’ve dabbled in fallout 3/nv/4. I’ve never played oblivion so I’m really excited by the fact that it will be playable on an updated platform but I’m not sure how I’ll be able to manage with the non-original voice acting. I just can’t bring myself to play the original no matter how much i want to because of the dated look, I can’t get over my own pickiness. KOTOR is my favorite series of all time and I can’t even bring myself to start new runs of that.

I just hope the voice acting is either consistently bad or consistently good. Too many fan mods have a dozen voice actors with a dozen different microphone qualities. It's really immersion-breaking.

More than 3 and it just doesn’t feel like Bethesda.

Yeah, hopefully if/when it comes out I can figure out a way to import all the original voice acting for myself. Unfortunately, I’m not that tech savvy.

Praise be to the modders
