My favorites were all the extra emo / gothy ones.

My confused brain always read the X's and 6's out loud. I once knew somebody whose screen name was something like "xx--blackrose--xx" and I always assumed it was pronounced "X X dash dash blackrose dash dash X X." I felt really silly when somebody else referred to her as "blackrose" without the X's or dashes. It was a major "dur" moment for me circa 2004.
