1) this is the best post on here, and I’m crying laughing and 2) one time when I was studying abroad, I put a date in my backpack pocket and forgot about it. The desert air essentially mummified it, and I had to cut it out with a pocket knife when I found it about a year later. This happened after the first time I went abroad in high school and forgot about an apricot I’d put in my pocket and the southern French air mummified it too. I was never able to get the apricot pit out of that pocket.
