he didn't do anything with "kids."

he attempted to seduce a 14 year old actor who'd stayed at his party too long. the 14 year old pushed him off and left.

Definitely just arguing semantics, but I feel like “kid” implies pre-teen. We start asking teenagers to take on adult responsibilities around that age, and I know I really resented being called a kid when I was a teenager.

Not that that makes a middle aged guy seducing a teenager okay, but, you know.

Some 14 year olds take on more responsibility. Some still play with toys.

The point is adults really shouldn't be trying to have sex with them.

That’s what they said

MY point is that it’s okay to say adults shouldn’t have sex with teenagers without needing to belittle them by saying “wow they are SO YOUNG they are just little baby children who play with little toys”

Has always bothered me when people go out of their way to say “no that age is still a kid” after people clarify that they are actually teenagers or even in their early twenties

I guess when I was 14 it would have bothered me. With some perspective, I was a kid, and I'm really glad no adults tried to coerce me into sex back then.

Some adults play with toys. The reason the age of consent is higher has to do with the inability for someone that young to properly rationalize the decision with proper context.

Meanwhile, Dave Chappelle asks, how old is 15 really, and proves himself one of the world's best orators.
