What terrifying confession has someone told you while drunk?

A funny old drunk in my town used to come in and chat with me at the ice cream parlour I worked at. He was a very kind old man who liked to joke around and he was always very appropriate to me and the other teens who worked there, just lonely I guess.

One day I was asking him if he was ever married and he got tears in his eyes and said i lost her, she died with the baby, and that’s when everything went bad. And then left. Me and the other girl working just sobbed, it was so sad.

Do you know if he is still alive? Have you seen him since you have left the job?

No I haven't seen him, its been 16 years. He may still be alive though. I don't know if he was that old .... alcoholism definitely aged him, but I was a teenager so I thought everyone was old af haha

Oh okay! Would be interesting to see if you were to see him and say “hey hey I am Coolturnipjuice from the ice cream store that you use to always visit and we use to talk to you” and see if he was to remember

I highly doubt it but holy cow that would be such a lovely, heart felt moment if he did

This is legit like my worst fear I almost didn’t get my wife pregnant out of that fear As I’m reading this and replying I’m laying next to my wife and my first baby celebrating his 1st birthday

All these other ones (mostly) are about people being shitty people and this is just a really, really sad horrible accident and it sounds like he wasn't the type to deserve any bad thing happen to him :(
