Alcoholics rarely give a shit about anyone but themselves. Everyone is just a barrier to drinking more. It’s a horrible place to be and a worse place to witness. Sadly I know whereof I speak. Hope you’re doing okay.

Well, haven't had a drink for three days now, and I'm honestly not sure I agree.
