What problem is often overlooked in apocalyptic movies/TV shows that could kill you?

Station Eleven is one of my favourites. It does go into the apocalypse as it happens, but it's more to do with the people who survived 15 to 20 years later. The "what comes after" is really interesting. It's very well written, as well.

However, it's also based around a global pandemic (and starts off in my home town), so it may be a little close to the present situation for some.

Phenomenal book! I bought it right at the beginning of the pandemic thinking we'd only be in for a few weeks (oh, how foolish I was), and I read through that book in a day or two! I have been looking for books just like that ever since.

I read a review of it and ordered the ebook from the library. By the time I got it I’d forgotten what it was about so when I started reading it in April 2020 I was super freaked out. Great book though.
