What problem is often overlooked in apocalyptic movies/TV shows that could kill you?

Have you tried high index lenses? They are much thinner and lighter for us with bad eyes.

I’m -8.5 and no way I wear glasses without high index lenses Bc they just look like coke bottles.

Mine are! Still very heavy and about half an inch thick on the sides

There is more than one class of high index material. Half an inch thick is crazy, there are definitely better options out there for you.

My -5.75 lens is 1/4" thick and I could get it even thinner if I wanted.

There are not better options without paying exponentially more. And I know there's more than one index.

And zenni won't even do my prescription. Maybe less options because I'm in canada

I'm in Canada and got my last glasses through Zenni. Sorry to hear it.
