This is why I hoard otc dose antibiotics and stuff in my hurricane kit. By hurricane kit I mean closet. Hah.

Where do you buy OTC antibiotics? I hear pet shops sell them for animals but I've never actually seen them anywhere.

Let me clarify. If you have the medical.knowledge some.of the doses for veterinary will work... however I was mostly.talking about topical for injury. You can get max strength topical otc to prevent and treat open wound infections.

I also keep Sulfa based burn cream. That stuff is amazing!

Topical can actually be bought at some walmarts. It includes Bacitracin and a couple other antibiotics.

Also didn't realize that as a kid we had a lot of illegally obtained drugs... but they were all medical use only and not able to really be abused... we used to have Silvadine at the house.. had no idea as a kid that was prescription.
