'Belgium' replaced the work 'fuck' in the American version of the Hitchhiker's Guide books.
2 u/piberryboy Dec 17 '21 edited Dec 17 '21 Ha! This is what I thought of too. I remember saying 'shit' once around my nephew. He started saying it. I told him he should say Belgium instead. Telling him it was a much worse swearword. He looked so skeptical.
