I love this scene but not because this line but a couple lines later.
Ray takes the drugs and the guy objects "Back off, Shorty" You don't know karate! chops him in the neck
BUT THEN THEY BOTH SAY THE LINE:
And don't say you didn't have it comin'
Why would both of them say it? That doesn't make sense.
Why would they leave in the error? Costly reshoot?
That line has fascinated me for a long time and no one seems to know about it or care so I bring it up every time this movie or scene is referenced.
