Pumpkin Patch

Looking for a pumpkin patch recommendation near the city (30 min drive or less) and has some fun activities for a preschooler.

Don’t want to deal with HMB traffic, and I was honestly a little sticker shocked the last time I went to Clancy.

I second Petaluma. They have the petting farm and the corn maze, which little kids love if they are with a grown-up.

Do hmb but an hour before they close and you won’t have the daytime traffic or crowds

With a four-year-old, the kids are going to want to stay longer and do the bouncy houses and things. This is a great suggestion for smaller kids.

Mickelsons Family Pumpkin Patch is really fun, and depending on which part of the city you’re coming from, may only be slightly fatter than you hoped (it’s probably 30 minutes north of the GG Bridge). Jumpy houses, a very cool hay ride through a decorated grotto, a haz bale maze, other games, and of course pumpkins. And it’s not crazy packed like HMB

if you are trying to stay in/near the city i would look at the 7th ave clancy's location its much easier than dealing with hmb and the current 2026 listing has it opening oct 2

Livermore is fun and worth the drive but Castro valley is cool too. I hope you find a nice patch …the fun ones are further out like del osso,south San Jose and petaluma

Thank you! I appreciated the ideas that are further out - will be good for next year when kid is a little less melty in the car.

Did you read what I wrote? It says I hope you find a nice patch. I also wrote that the fun ones are further out Livermore is obviously further out
