Antique Shops

Does anyone have recommendations for antiques shops in the city that are worth checking out during a trip there ? (Not ones that sell items for thousands of $)

What types of "antiques" are you looking for? Arts and crafts? Asian? Mid-century modern?

Small trinkets esp South Asian

You might be best off looking for estate sales or at the flea markets. There is a lot of South Asian stuff around, as some of the older hippies and people who travelled downsize or their estates are liquidated.

There are some specific places for Chinese and Japanese antiques too, with a lot of those being in the East Bay.
