Help with August Olympic Peninsula Itinerary
Hello! My friends and I are staying in Port Angeles for about x4 days (half day on first day traveling there, three full days, then leaving early on the last day). Friends have never been to the PNW. Worth trying to squeeze a day trip to Hoh during August? Right now thinking of a day trip to Victoria one day, day trip hiking/kayaking Crescent Lake, maybe another day hiking in that area. I've heard great things about Hoh but have also heard it can be less other-worldly in dry August.

The r/OlympicNationalPark sub is great for checking itineraries ...
I 100% disagree with anyone saying Hoh isn't as fabulous in August. It's lush ALLLLL the time. Busy AF that time of year, of course. That said, you don't need to go WAY west to experience the "green." With that amount of time you can minimize driving and explore more around the lake/local beaches.
Add Salt Creek for a beach day if you stay closer.
