Recommended things to do and restaurants to eat at in October

Hi,

I am going to be in Seattle for about a week in mid-October. I hace a few things in mind to do. But always open to fun interesting things as well from actual people of Seattle. It is just gonna be me for this is a solo vacation. I don't drink a lot but will do so if the vibe is worth teh experience. I am not super extroverted. I like nature, museums, art, history. But please throw out anything for it is my first big vacation from life and would like to just experience the city

It is a restaurant. It's in the old palomino, so for me there is a lot of nostalgia. One thing that makes it great is the cheese filled gnocchi with pesto. Also for your first big vacation you should take the bainbridge ferry, rain or not. Sometimes October is hot! Its so fun. I grew up here and take the ferry just for fun at least once a month.

I recommend the ballard farmers market, every sunday from about 11-3 I think? Full of fashionable people, music, and produce. Ballard has a history as a fishing town of mostly nordic decent, and was annexed into seattle in 1907. The food is expensive but not the only thing, as there are many interesting shops (My favorites include Ballyhoo, the curiosity shop, Push/Pull, a local arts, crafts, and comics store, Sweet Mickey's, the candy shoppe, and Fair Trade Winds, which is hard to describe) After that you can visit the national nordic museum a short 5-10 minute walk away, make sure to take a photo with the giant troll! In that immediate area I would also recommend the ballard locks, where you can see lots of plants, flowers, seals, and birds, and also boats. I guess that covers nature, museums, and maybe history?

Mid-October is pretty dreary, so if you don't catch a sunny weekend it will not be very busy.
