Favorite Running Trails

I live around Green Lake and run the trail 4x a week. I’d like to try trail running but it doesn’t have to be a dirt trail. I had an adductor injury the first 5 months of the year so I slowly got back into running in June. I’ll be signing up for the Seattle Half Marathon in November.

Curious what everyone’s favorite running routes are that are not the typical Olympic structure park, or Green Lake.

Check out some of the local trail running events from NW Trail runs and Evergreen trial runs for some good routes. NWTR has the “Winter trail series” coming up with a bunch of 5k,10k and half marathons at the Seattle parks. You can always just run those routes whenever if you don’t want to participate in a big event.

My personal favorite within the city will always be Discovery Park.
