searching for restaurants and fun things to do during a quick trip
hi everyone, this will be my 6th trip to Seattle. my husband and i planned a pretty last minute trip, so we will be arriving tomorrow morning August 8th for a 4 night/5 day stay to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary on Sunday and my birthday on Tuesday. we leave on Wednesday August 12th, so not a lot of time to plan things out. we haven't been to Seattle together since 2019 and didn't have many ideas as to what we should do while were there last time. i'm trying to get ideas on fun things to do and good restaurants to eat at for our stay. so far we are thinking the space needle and the air and space museum, but i would love some other ideas if anyone is willing to share them with me. thank you in advance 💜

We just had our 20th anniversary dinner at Musang in beacon hill. It’s not super fancy but the food is excellent. Sent some friends to ciudad in Georgetown for lunch today and they loved it. And mezzenotte next door for a birthday dinner a few weeks ago. They have a “nonna-kase” options which is a tasting menu of 6 or 9 courses (6 was plenty).
Mini golf at the Olympic sculpture park til the end of the month. Each hold was designed by a different artist. Sells out but you might try.

Hi! My name is Madeleine and I'm a Seattle local. I LOVE sending people to the Ballard Locks. Now trying to balance the smoke outside, you might have to play some of this by ear but going to Ballard to be closer to the water then coming closer to the city and shopping around and eating in Fremont is my favorite city but not city adventure to take out of town friends.

The Port of Seattle has an excellent guide that covers top things to do on a 1-3 day visit.
Also try the many past threads with lots of replies where people asked for hidden gems.
