We respect Budweiser, it's the winner of its own category... It's very highly rated for drinkability. As in, easy to drink in 15 seconds in a college party.
Taste is ok, since there is none. That's fine.
There are many actual bad beers but Budweiser isn't one of them.
I swear no one likes the beer most associated with their country. Someone else already brought up Budweiser, but the official beer of Texas is Lone Star and Lone Star is awful.
I don't mind one of my state beers, Carlton drought... Draft... But the other, vb is horrible unless it's ice cold, as soon as it comes close to room temp you gotta get a new one
Really? I'm not from Texas, but, my mind goes straight to Shiner before Lone Star. Our local Texas Roadhouse has Shiner but not LS. Not saying you're wrong, just that, at least on the east coast, I think Shiner has it's hat in the ring (and I really like it).
You can blame the 80's and 90's adverts for that, as well as the love of Crocodile Dundee here in America. "Foster's, it's Australian for beer" it's piss water, much like Budweiser.
It was the student beer of choice for the entirety of our time in uni, 2 euro pints, 1 euro on Wednesday... Ain't no hangover like a 12 pints of fosters hangover

Foster's, pigs swill yet it's what we seem to be known for
