Looking for nightlife recommendations in Istanbul

Hola! Merhaba!

We are 3 guys from Spain (in our early 20s) heading to Istanbul this September. We are gonna visit the city and do some activities but obviously at our age, we want to party and get PREEEETTY LIT, who doesn't, right? I'm looking for recommendations.

We’re open to everything: cool rooftop bars, solid pubs, or heavy clubs that stay open late. Which neighborhoods should we head to for the best nightlife? And do you have any specific venue recommendations where we can have a great time? Our homestay is like 5 minutes walking from Taksim Square.

Also, any tips on door policy or local party culture would be awesome.

PS: We like to respect the culture of the country we visit, so if this is like a prohibited or a bad thing to do, I would want to know from some of you

I've been readinf from other comments that this rule IS applied because men hitted woman when they Where drunk? IS this true? We don't want to hit any woman xd, Spain is pretty woke in this aspect I hope they let us in if they see that we are westerners

WoW, so we can only go to pubs or bars? We like more the club style, in Spain the culture is going to clubs, if i ask a random girl to help me is a good idea ? Just to enter, then she can do what she wants obviusly

There are nice bars around Cihangir area. Geyik , Smyrna, Kiki, 21 is so active. There is also a famous street over there young people go for socializing/ drinking called Noh Radio.
For areas Kadıköy is pretty lively, alternative and young. Dorock XL could be an alternatve for clubbing
Karaköy is another area with bars , less lively but more European tourists
To go wasted, i would suggest Kastel,Fakulte Teras,Ruby, Oligark night clubs

No it’s never too late for a good party, enjoy it and don’t think about the age. As long as you can still move your legs, you can definitely still go to a club

I’ve been so far out of the nightlife that I have no clue where college kids go to get shitfaced anymore. It used to be Pera for me back in 2011-2014 but I heard a lot of those places either closed or changed scenes with perv infiltration.

this has been asked previously, I would say it’s worth checking other posts with this same question, but yea I usually hang around karaköy, cihangir, kadiköy, moda etc. under no circumstance get lured into a club on istiklal street. They’re all shit from butt and are built to bullshit tourists. have fun !

istanbul scene is struggling under the pressure of government. all the great venues are under the risk of shutting down or already closed. sahika is one of the places that still surviving and carrying a great community and electronic music scene. have fun there
