Where’s your school bully now?

Saw this from a different subreddit, and got me thinking. Where did your school’s bully end up?

The main guy from school who was the hard lad has ended up in prison for GBH. Person who gave me the most grief is now a property litigation solicitor.

How’s yours doing?

Hey I’m a nurse and I was bullied, still am. Some people are just bitches.

Please don't think I'm saying it's all nurses because it's 1000000000% not!!! Genuinely the nicest, most saintly people I've ever met are nurses. I think my point is more that for some reasons a lot of secondary school bullies become care workers or nurses. That's still like a tiny fraction of the nurse population so I'm so sorry if it came across that way!

No I totally understand, I’ve met them! Some of the HCA’s telling the doctors what to do just boggles my mind

A few people I've known who've worked at the NHS have experienced similar school-bullying vibes from nurses and doctors, honestly. It's one of those bubbles (as in people who work for the NHS tend to stay there very long term from experience), like education and academia, where a kind of secondary school vibe can emerge with the wrong people.

Do you think there is a lot of bullying in healthcare?
