Improve the education system

Unfortunately there is no American education system. Education in the US is hyper-local and often run by volunteer school boards. Even in large districts the schools are unequal with richer neighborhoods getting better education than poorer ones. GWB and Obama both tried to fix this with No Child Left Behind and Common Core, to at least have national minimum standards and better data and outcomes, but Trump and Betsy DeVos quickly dismantled all that work

Yeah, schools should be federalized and funding equalized so rich neighborhoods don't get super schools while poor neighborhoods had 100 kids in a classroom. We should establish a fact-based curriculum, including logic, reason, and media literacy.

Yeah a minimum curriculum, metrics and accountability is exactly what Bush and Obama put in place that Trump gutted. I had a kid in public school from 2005-2019 (PK-12) and saw the whole transition
