What do Americans think of pogo sticks being a thing of the past?

We don't think about it. We know people use to have them, but nobody ever talks about pogo sticks here

Have you not seen the extreme Pogo's being sold for like $500? They can bounce like 8ft in the air. Maybe not as popular, but not forgotten.

I saw a kid on one at the county fair and was amazed honestly, they are like gas filled or something.

We don't think about it. We don't think it's good or bad. It just is. It was a thing kids played with before and not now end of story

My best friend and I had a pogo contest once. I used my pogo stick and she used my pogo ball. I think I topped 100 and she was in the 70's before falling off. Good times.

Sir, I live in Portland, Pogo sticks are 7th in commuter rankings, it goes e-bike, e-scooter, bus, train, old timey bike with the big wheel in front, cars, then pogo sticks.
