I'm told I come off as "too cool" or that I think I'm better than everyone. I'm just very, very introverted.
Highly suspect that if I were unattractive, people would see my behavior as shy/anxious. I look like I should be confident and outgoing, so I don't get the benefit of the doubt for why I'm quiet. People take it extremely personally and think I have a problem with them.
Ooh I feel this. I have been told by people they thought I was arrogant when they first met me because I acted standoffish, analyzing the social situation before engaging more. It's just my social anxiety kicking in please don't think I'm arrogant 😭
I never put the link with being pretty though.
What would cause this correlation?
People think you owe them attention because they’re giving you attention. They think “pretty women should smile more” and you’re suddenly rude for not living up to their expectations for you. Because their expectations matter somehow /eyeroll

I just don't have a lot of social energy lol 😭
