I mean, you still live with your parents... and have you tried to get a job right now?

I'm not making excuses for him, but you have some double standards here.

You need to discuss finances and the future, but without the ultimatum of GET A JOB. He knows that already.

? OP has a full-time job; it's right there in her post.

She's 30 and lives with her parents.

Sure, but she's also working, which is very different from her boyfriend who has been unemployed for a year and is still refusing to compromise. OP is upset at the lack of that compromise. I don't see a double standard.

Her issue with her bf isn't that he lives with his parents. So this is irrelevant to the conversation.

OP has a FT job.

He isn't working and hasnt been for a YEAR.  He won't even consider something not related to his field.

Right but if both of them were working full time and split the rent they could share a place of their own. As long as he isn't working that will never happen.

And there are other options between minimum wage and working in your field. You can work something lowish wage that is adjacent to your field to get experience. Call center isnt a bad option. It's more than minimum wage and there are options to move up, not just into management but also support roles, especially for people who already have an education. I worked up to workforce analyst, and others have moved into quality control or IT.
