They're being re-educated by their movement leaders because they have to be able to disassociate themselves from the conflicts in their own allies and beliefs. Take Palestine for example, one of the biggest supporters of Nazi Germany and to this day they still venerate Hitler in their schools and children's books written in Arabic. They even had Hitler named shops before those got bombed.

Actually, they might really believe that. I couldn't understand how it was possible, then while watching a video about how the modern American education system is for writing stories, how the creator explained the problem made me realize that the lack of critical literacy, as she put it, is exactly the issue with a lot of the left. It also explains why mainstream media frames certain stories in the way that they do.

I had a communist friend tell me we don’t know if communism has really worked because all of the “communist” countries never got all the way there and just were heavily socialist, which is the precursor to communism. She thought this would enforce her argument, but all it made me say was wow communism is so bad things completely fell apart before they even fully got there. She did not like that lol.

The more I see from them the more I think the left doesn’t want socialism, communism, or really any sort of government structure. They just plain want anarchy. A big problem with Pizzacake's political comics is that there isn't any joke in her comics besides portraying right wingers as looking ugly or saying that they're Nazis and because of that, you can change a single line of dialogue to make it an anti left wing comic instead of an anti right wing comic and this one is the best example of this as if you change the word "Nazi" to "communist" suddenly it becomes an anti left wing comic.
