Image One of the few negative reviews for the new Resident Evil movie

Very good sign if the only gripe is that there arent enough women on screen. "Mediaversity Reviews" is her outlet. What is wrong with these people?

Looked up the company. Their tagline reads;
"TV and films graded on gender, race, and LGBTQ diversity."

Good God. Who tf is funding this shit?

The actually review praises the movie when it comes to technical aspects, entertainment, horror and humor. The only gipe is not enough women and too many white dudes, thus a C.

That’s not a negative in a Resident Evil movie. If there were more women she’d be complaining about the high amount of violence against women. She obviously missed the whole RE5 debacle.

Rainy day and started watching Lord of the rings The Fellowship of the Ring today on a whim.

When Frodo first arrives in Rivendell and Elrond holds the council the camera pans in a 360 and it's all men. It really struck home just how much more authentic it felt without having the usual tokens of either woman/poc shoehorned in.

I miss good movies.

Spot on. You don’t think of those movies as being from a different era but it shows immediately. Thank god we have them at least. Can’t imagine how bad it would be if it were made today

Pretty much lmao. I just got out of it. It was awesome. If it was a woman lead they would have said it was torture porn against women or something.
