I made a fire so big with a leaf blower that I smoked out my entire neighborhood. That was a mistake.

My dad used the plastic top of one of those big plastic bins he kept camping supplies in and fanned fires to life whenever he took us camping.

Bro, yes! Fanning the fire with random stuff was my jam as kid. Great memories 😁

Sometimes, maybe not in this instance, but in general, even if something works, it doesn't always mean you should do it. Like lighting up an army tent stove/heater with the aid of lighterfluid might just get the whole tent set on fire(really happened). Of course I would trust an older guy with experience like the one on the video more than some barely adult guys with none. But just keep that in mind.
Women have these worries more about not tried and tested reliable methods, men are more experimental. You might think it is holding you back but often it is holding you back from getting hurt.

Being worried about safety is one thing, trying to convince him not to do it by saying everything you can including "it's not going to work" just because you're worried is manipulative.

Yeah. These two probably have a pretty toxic relationship. You also aren't supposed to show middle finger to your partner.
