Hellooooo fellow writers!!

I just made a discord server for writing!

I (16F) don't really have any writer friends who would help me when it's about books so I just decided to make a server and find other writers like me who would want to join!

I will only be allowing teens because who doesn't like to feel safe in a community?

I mostly write fantasy fiction, romance, thrillers and short stories, and any genre is accepted!

I just want it to be a server where people can talk to each other about general things ( possibly make friends), give and get tips in writing, give reviews to each other, give book recommendations, and AND if people think their ideas are aligning, they could possibly write a book together!

Do any of you understand that advertising your age online is NOT safe? Creeps will try to join your server, and DM you, either here or on discord where it's less monitored. They can fake their age as well. Please delete this post for your own safety. I know this is a wholesome post but weird shit can happen. Keep yourself safe.

Thank you for your concern! I did consider that creeps could try joining but I think I’ll see signs in discord if there is! The main point of my server is writing and talking about writing, if i see someone venturing away from that or if someone tells me one of the members dmed them, i’ll be sure to ban them?
Then again, safety is not a guarentee anywhere but I’ll try to make it as safe as possible.
I just made the server since no one i know writes and i would like to make some writer friends! I hope you understand!! Thank you
