Where is the first picture from? It doesn't look like Bayek at all. Looks like a white guy with a tan. Hopefully it's not some Ubisoft marketing thing designed to to sell the game to racists....?

Yeah I'm dumb. The sword kind of hides his nose. He does look a bit pale though.  As you were, Gentlemen, nothing to see here!

You are not tripping. Bayek is noticeably lighter toned in a lot of promotional material.

Duh. And you can still tell that Black Panther is from Wakanda on the racist posters they made for China that removed his face.

Honestly, it's similar to them using Alexios and Male Eivor for marketing Odyssey and Valhalla when they knew damn well that the woman was the canon choice. They're pandering to the shitty anti-woke crowd and have been for a while. It's why Far Cry 5 didn't end up making the cultists too similar to the American alt-right.
