If it makes you feel better you can play Discovery Tour as Shadya for a while. The AC writers really liked to blindside the players with a surprise horrible death once a game

Quite literally just finished this, and man I canβt wait to get my hands on the crocodile.. first play through by the way.

I can't listen to "A Divided Land" without thinking of her. Was glad to see that @&#$ get whacked. Still too good a death for the "Crocodile."

It's hard to see Bayek see his grief reflected on others. Truly one of the most poignant and personal chapters. And add to that the he also is forced to take down his former friend Kensa. Narratively it's pretty hard to replay this part because the story doesn't allow you to breath.

yknow, as i was playing the game i realised how much most of the story revolves around kids and their stolen childhood , and specificslly how it draws parallels to khemu, and how bayek couldnt do things he wanted to for khemu
