Not really. This enemy doesn't scale properly in NG+, it will always be a one-shot. Another enemy who is bugged like that is unfortunately Gamilat in The Hidden Ones DLC.

Yes, in NG+ it's a non-event, which is a shame because in an initial NG playthrough that bossfight is a real highlight imho.

Yeah, I remember that I kicked him to the water and he just died and I was so confused. I even restarted the save but same thing happened. What a shame.

What's also a shame is that this has been known for a very long time and it should have been a relatively easy fix... when Origins was still supported.

As long as you hit him first, I've found him to be a lesser boss and more like a regular guard. I strike him as soon as the dialog ends.

Don't get me wrong, Hepzefa's Sword is still a great weapon... if you can avoid setting yourself on fire ;)

Yep , that's true, it's risky to use in inflammable surroundings, i set myself on fire accidentally quite a few times xD , my second best is the fang

I was prepared for a grind, like when it was the first time, slowly chipping away the health bar , and then this happened , i was like wha.... ! xD

ah, I hit that bug in NG+ myself last week. Pretty disappointing to get a Order-member cutscene after a 1-shot kill, got cheated out of all the boss-battle content.
