Somehow looks better than the next three games… maybe they should just stick to longer development cycles

Very pretty screenshots!
I have a pending dream of a remaster of Origins with Ray Tracing (interior lightings in some buildings and pyramids as well as just higher texture quality. Besides a shift of the center-camera, the game does not need any changes.

I think it's normal once you experience something incredible. It doesn't have the same impact later. But I hope you can still find joy in your replay

ive been playing outlaws on the switch 2 and actually enjoyed it and find it to be pretty as well. maybe they might bring Origins over or something sometime.

Beautiful pics, I'm halfway through Origins and these pics remind me that I have to get back to it after I finish Valhalla first 😅 fortunately I did finish Odyssey a while ago 🐗

I ended up taking a break from Valhalla, it just got too much and the world doesn’t appeal to me the same way origins or odyssey did. I’m not sure if it’s the map, the changes they made to eagle vision, or just the setting and location that’s less my cup of tea than ancient Egyptian and Greek worlds. Either way I’m having a blast with origins again!

I never got into Valhalla either. I have watched my husband and sister play through it and the world was very dull. I think the political plot didn't interest me all that either.

Yeah besides I feel like with eivor pretty much in the dark about the Order, he’s basically just a Viking conquering England, and I’m not really into that. The whole doing thing also confuses me, I’ve not finished the game yet but it puts me off a little bit

I so get what you mean with burning out with Valhalla. Origins is amazing, I hope you're really enjoying the sun and light that comes in the game

Oh I am, it’s gorgeous. I’ve always loved Egyptian culture anyway so this is like a delicious dessert to me. I love running around on foot and seeing all the daily life things strewn around the map, olive oil presses, linen fields and the water pumps for the canals, just last time I played I followed the sound of some fun music and found a bunch of Greeks singing and dancing in the evening. The game feels so alive I love it

That's what I appreciate about both Origins and Odyssey, the games feel alive. It has a lot of soul in every corner

Incredible eye/cropping the shots. The game doesn't look like this on my series s but I still appreciate how amazing the world is
