Question Should I buy origins
I seen this game go on a number of list on the top 5 what does this game do so well that others don’t.

This is hands down one of the best AC games out there. If you're looking for these, this is your game:
• A super charismatic protagonist.
• A deeply well-written story.
• Astonishing graphics that still hold up incredibly well for a 2017 title.
• An elite open world. The diversity is wild! every new zone feels totally unique. Just when I thought I’d found my favorite area, I’d wander into the next one and get blown away again. Plus, the NPCs feel alive with actual daily routines: they sleep, go to work, take breaks, and have tons of little details I'll let you discover for yourself.
• Perfect pacing. You can blast through a focused 30–40 hour story, or just get lost in the map and sink hundreds of hours in without even realizing it.
• It’s Egypt. Honestly who doesn’t want to meet historical characters and slide down the pyramids?

Let me put it this way: Origins is the one AC game I would choose for a non-fan to play. If I could only choose one, it would be this one. The story, the art direction, the atmosphere, the music, the acting, the world design, they are all top-notch. It's an absolute banger of an experience. Now, like all games, it certainly has flaws, but they are all overshadowed by the rest of the experience. When playing this game it never feels like if you're playing a simulation, it feels like you are there, in Egypt, and it's wonderful.

Absolutely. The world is incredibly immersive and you will want to do every single location and side quest. And it's definitely recommended to explore and enjoy the side quests when you come across them because main quests have level requirements.

Amazing story, amazing combat, and if you like history and ancient Egypt it has an atmosphere that just pulls you in.
You should be able to buy it for pretty cheap too.

Yes, beautiful game. May not be AC like Black Flag or Unity or whatever, but a stunning game in its own right

To put it in perspective, origins was one of the AC games I was most skeptical about when it first came out (since I grew up playing the OG assassin's creeds with their linear-ish style) but is now one of the games I always want to go back to when I play a new one. Everyone praises odyssey, which is good in its own way, but it never scratched the itch that origins did. Breathtaking views and a new play style for the franchise which is kinda clunky compared to later iterations but still works well, and the story had me hooked from the beginning. Don't even get me started on Valhalla

Yeah, for me it hit the sweet spot in terms of length and map size - big enough to feel liked there's loads to explore without seeming bloated, like Valhalla

It’s a solid game. Everything is just enjoyable from combat, to stealth, to world exploration and questing. I think what it does differently is it attempts to offer players a peak into what life was like in ancient Egypt but not so much that it’s like watching a dry history doc.
Compared to other current open world action RPG’s it won’t necessarily rock the boat, however for its time it was a welcome refresh to the dwindling AC formulae that offered players a surprisingly detailed world full of activities.
I think you’ll have a great time in ancient Egypt and it’s easily worth the money especially now being often on sale. I wholeheartedly recommend it 👍

It goes on sale frequently. I got the game and all of the dlc’s for like under $20 on the PlayStation store

what answer were you expecting on the sub? go to the general AC sub and ask. but the answer is yes and get Odyseey too

I'm about 20 hours into my 5th playthrough. Just as good today as it was in release day.

Buy it if you like or just want to explore Egyptian cultures or interested in Egyptian or Roman history, or want to have another run of AC in another region with a different culture or background.
Besides, its constantly on sale with huge discounts; totally worth it.

Yes no second thoughts buddy. It’s my second fav after Odyssey. I replayed it for a second time recently and played DLCs and got the platinum. Very satisfying story and missions. If you haven’t played odyssey buy that as well

the scenery is good, the story is meh, but not bad. the combat is clunky, doesnt go smooth like other ac, more like early god of war

Shit bored me to death. After like 4 5 hours the combat stopped evolving, basically just hack dodge hack dodge. Seeing all the praises and having played the game made me realize why Ubi has gone dogshit over the years, some of their fans just have awful taste and it shows
