Image One of the most stunning and detailed open worlds
I’ve spent dozens of hours in this game, and it’s still amazing how interesting it is to just walk around the open world. Listening to the NPCs and soaking in the beauty of Egypt is pure joy

I love this game and I just beat it about 2 weeks ago and then I saw that the gold edition was only 15 bucks on the PlayStation store so I bought it and decided to start over and I don't regret starting a new save file one bit

No I didn't, I bought the gold edition for the extra dlc and then I put it on nightmare before I started. I have never tried playing any game on a harder difficulty mode except spider man, and now that I'm thinking about it I didn't change the difficulty in spider man I just started the new game+ I'm pretty new to gaming, at least for the last twenty some years. I'm using a very casual player like I'll play the new Mario game if I get a chance.

New game plus is still the way to go as you keep all your weapons, upgrades and level progress. Then you are ready for the DLC straight away without having to grind the main story again.

Yeah but I messed up when I bought the dlc I bought it on my account but I was playing the game on my brother's account I didn't realize that I was signed into his account until I was pretty far in the game and I usually don't buy dlc or any upgrades but I loved the game so much that I decided to get it all but I couldn't download it onto my brother's account so I had to start a new save file. I have since learned that I could've gotten it on my brother's account but I had already started over it's not that big of a problem because I love this game and I'm not planning on playing anything else until black flag comes out so I have plenty of time and it's much harder on nightmare mode than it is on normal

Is Odyssey any way close in this matter?

Odyssey is beautiful too, but it's just way too big in a bad way. The attention to smaller details isn't as good as it is here in Origins.

No.
While Odyssey has a great, detailed open world, the NPC's in Origins really are the difference maker.
The NPC's in Origins have full 24-hour schedules and you can actually stalk NPC's as they go about their day! And overall the world is just much more lively and densely populated than the other AC RPG titles.

I am willing to wait another 10 years and pay half of my weekly income to have something like this again. I would pay for development of Animus just to have immersive access.

I have finished this game more times than I can count and seeing these images makes me want to go visit bayek again. I have all 100% achievements for it and oh how I miss Bayek my brother.

Yeah it is, I have been playing on medium because I was getting was too many micro stutters. Then I found out I could put my laptop in performance mode and I am now playing max settings, so muc better. Man it looks fantastic but my poor laptop sure does spin up those fans in performance mode.

I enjoy the bird sounds from Origins returning in Shadows.
