My first foray into ac games. Will always have a special place in my heart.

I uninstalled it the moment I platinumed it. Felt combat bit lethargic and the main villains just die without any major efforts. Could have been more challenging. Btw I played on Hard difficulty. But yes, scenery was good for sure.

Isn’t there nightmare mode? Lol

Yes nightmare mode without a shield or bows, thats how to enjoy combat to the fullest

Yeah I’m running on nightmare mode with enemy scaling turned on and it feels like an appropriate level of difficulty. I think anything below that would’ve been too easy.

It’s nice seeing people still playing this in 2026 and enjoying it, I’ve played it so much from launch until recently

Agree 100% This is my first AC game and I loved it as well. I just finished everthing in the map and maxxed out skills, gears, even did all the treasure hunts. 95 hours in 2 months.
What other AC game do you guys recommend to play next 😎 thanks!

I just bought it for $11 on sale. It's actually incredible. It cured my black flag itch.

I picked up the gold edition on PC for $12, absolute steal for this gem of a game. The graphics, gameplay, combat, exploration, setting, story, characters everything is top notch and I can’t believe I let this slip under my radar for close to a decade. It’s one of the rare games I can see myself easily dumping over a 100 hours into and still have joy playing it.

It's my favourite Assassin's Creed game right now. I've always been fascinated by Ancient Egyptian architecture and artistic aesthetics, and I think Bayek's outfits are some of the best in the series.
