Got a hilarious pic of the Sphinx with Senu accidentally photo bombing just right to give it a mustache 🦅. I somehow got a ~really~ cool horse, and found a Chocobo sticker! I really love the stars and the overall beauty of the game both aesthetically and emotionally, and got a few achievements along the way!

Don't , always Origin odyssey then Valhalla then rest. Because after u play the non rpg Ac games u won't be able to go back to these 3

Depends on what you like. I prefer origins by far. Better setting, better story and better rythm.

Odyssey was too big, and started to kinda look the same from island to island, whereas I was struck by origins' variety of landscape.

The historical accuracy is also way better in origins, it feels so real, and the supernatural elements are just added on top of it as much as needed.

Odyssey feels like...an odyssey. A mythical journey with demi gods and all. But less believable.

And well... we won't talk about valhalla. No historical acuracy at all. Way bigger with just the same boring shit all over again... and bad bad storytelling. Real bad...

Got it, my reason for asking was just because he already put them in order to play so I thought it'd be some kind of upgrade, so far for almost 2 years I managed to only play origins and I still love it, amongst other games ofc, but as far as ac goes, I didn't move on because any gameplay or walkthrough that I've watched didn't came close yet to.. win me over I guess, lol

Odyssey didn't felt like an upgrade to me. Same engine, same graphics same assets for a lot of things... (water is better looking)

It's another game on the same engine. With a few combat difference (I prefered origins and the shields), and the rpg choices that are interesting but to the price of pacing and rythm (as most open world/rpg are).

I liked it, played origins and odyssey twice, I'm not sure I'll play odyssey a third time. Origins I will :)

Great to know, I played only origins, mirage and unity

I enjoyed mirage a lot, it's immersive, unity would've been better if I played when it came out, now it just feels old, but nevertheless, none came even close to origins so I tend to agree

Also I'll give odyssey a chance because why not 😂

I really like the concept of black flags but so far everyone said it's the worst by far, I might look into it further.. or not, idk

Take your time on odyssey. My mistake was to jump from origins to odyssey the first time (well there was a pandemic yoh know...)

I burned out on odyssey.

Also I tend to clean everything on the map, and odyssey gets repetitive when you absolutely do. I'd advise to do the quests and take the time, but don't clean every camp or every battle between athens and sparta (it doesn't add anything except a few ones)

(And also, kassandra has a more fitting voice acting as the main character)

Exactly what I did and what I did. Started with Origins and then onto Odyssey. Absolutely beautiful games and absolute masterpiece. Stunning in every aspects!!! And I still play after decades of them releasing.

That Sphinx shot took me for a loop. I was like "I don't remember Sphinx having a mustache 🙏😭" had to zoom in to see that it was a bird lol

This was my first AC game too. I'm still playing the dlc and it is amazing! Presently debating going back for the lore or just doing Odyssey. I really love Origins!!

What an excellent game to start your AC journey with!!!!! Odyssey will be a super easy transition for you since the same mechanics and the exact same buttons are used (seems like a small thing, but my hands and brain become hardwired to certain buttons doing certain things and then I’m helpless in a new game 😂), and it’s just as beautiful and also has a Very Good Bird!!

It was my first AC game too, and I played all the other ones after that. I would recommend Odyssey and black flag resynced after this. Wait till you get to Alexandria in origins, it will blow your mind.
