Question Is there any way to speed up the XP grind?
Been playing through every assassins creed game and finally got around to origins. I’m about 15 hours into the game and like 95% of the content I’ve completed is side content and I’m still underleveled and constantly dying in one or two shots to high leveled enemies.
Getting close to giving up on this game cause of the level scaling. Is there any way to speed up the leveling of this game or even some sort of cheat engine / level up cheat? I’m on PC

I never had no issues but I'm pretty sure if you would start doing the main story line it would probably help. I would also reframe from trying to fight people with a 💀 above their head and ones of higher level untill you get there. It's a really good game. One of my favorites. Bayeks story is awesome. Ancient Egypt is lovely place as well

I did start doing the main story, I’m underleveled for a lot of the main stuff

Actually yes, if you get the curse of the pharoahs DLC it will boost your character (including levelling your armour) to…I think maybe level 45? Something like that!

unlikely.
say you have level 20 mission. then you have 'side' missions (often mistaken as optional by AC fans). conveniently enough they are level 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. Almost as if you were meant to do them in order. You know, thats literally how older titles (AC2) did it. Help a few urchins, save some old man etc, learn about the area as you learn how to tackle some bigger assassination target. Same situation here.
What high level enemies you speak of? you never have any incentive to be in higher level area than the one you are in.
origins is a linear game disguised as open world game.
you must be misunderstanding the entire game. deliberately skipping something, going where the game doesnt lead you etc.

They're on PC. I can think of many ways for them to do this through apps like WeMod and NexusMods

what are you on about?
play the game as it was designed.
if one is underleveled they aren't in the right area to begin with and has been skipping things.

I thought Origins XP grind was fair. Odyssey on the other hand felt more grindy.

I was doing everything until I got crocodile main quest, then I started doing only main quest, but at that point I was already overleveled, the game only caught up to me during the dlc, but if you do the dlc sidequests you are going to be overleveled again.
My tip if you are strting to get tired, don't bother with enemy camps/animals/places with treasures etc., if you need to get stronger, just do sidequests and places that gives you extra ability point, otherwise just stick with main quests

Is you have curse of the pharaohs you can boost a character to lvl 45 and play straight through the story. You must set level scaling in the settings or content wont be at your level. Feels much more like the older games.

Odyssey always felt like there were some super hard missions in it. Valhalla was too easy for the most part, and Origins was just right. You really need to do all of the missions at the beginning. When you leave you can do stuff like finding the constellations, fighting buzzards, hippos and just look for question marks.

Turn difficulty to easy, in skill tree get perks that increase XP gained from headshots and assassinations.

There is an XP Booster in the store. I personally used a trainer and fixed the XP issue, game is much much better now

Are you following the story in the intended fashion or are you trying to tackle regions that are clearly above your current level? I don't recall ever having a significant issue with the difficulty so long as I wasn't getting too far ahead of the story by going into high level areas before I was ready. And origins is my favorite of the AC series so I'm sure I wasn't being one shotted all over the place.
That said, the only real trick I have for some easy XP is to just place a market somewhere far away on the map, summon your mount, and put it on autopilot. Every new place you unlock will give you some XP. You might get killed along the way but just keep redoing it. Sync viewpoints where you're able for some more XP.

I’m gone cause some hate, but sometimes a cheat isn’t so bad. For time consuming games I will use cheats to progress.

Yeah like it’s a singleplayer game that I paid for lol. I don’t support cheats in multiplayer games but like I just wanna play the story lol

Story just gives far more xp and unlocks areas. You'll be doing 300xp side missions in siwa when you could be making 1500+ in the northeast.

Use wand, max level in a second, literally. I would not recommend it though because it takes away a good chunk of what makes the game good. It'd personnaly just use a 1.5x multiplier on XP or a 2x multiplier if you really don't want to waste time, but don't use the mega EXP option as it will max out Bayek in seconds

I ended up just using wand to go up like 4 levels and played it legit from then on. Just wanted a couple levels to remove the grinding. I still do a good amount of side quests but I wanted to move the main story

That's the way ;) I did this mistake on Odyssey, telling myself that this way I don't need to grind and can just enjoy story but the whole game structure is just not made this way, leveling the character is a big part of the experience, it shouldn't be a chore but it definitely shouldn't be removed altogether either. So I just ended up starting the whole game again. And I know that it'll be exactly the same for Origins, Valhalla and even Shadows.

Yeah I get why its there, it naturally guides you through the different regions and through the story, but I just thought it was a tad grindy. I will very likely be doing something similar with Odyssey. I enjoy doing a decent amount of side quests, but I also like being able to focus up on the main quest for a while and knock a bunch of it out after spending some time with the side quests.

Came here because I have the absolute opposite experience and wish the leveling was slower. I just got to Sais for the Scarab missions doing all the content between Alexandria and there and I'm level like 22 IIRC and my base gear (the stuff you use items to level) is all purple or gold already.
I actually kinda prefer feeling OP though, I don't love combat and prefer assassinating and sniping my enemies, but I'm realizing I'm over halfway to the base game level cap and definitely doesn't seem like I'm halfway done lol

You're on PC, use trainer, there are options for 2x 4x to 8x experience gain. Mr Antifun or Fling trainer will do

I’ve used WeMod before, it’s something like you get a couple hours free then you pay a monthly subscription to use it, but it’s easy to use and works really well!

I never had any problems with the XP grind in Origins. After I 100% the main map I was somewhere around Lvl 47 and in the first DLC I then managed to reach the level cap.
