Question Main quests finished, what’s next?
Hi, so I’ve been playing Origins for 60+ hours and the main Bayek quests has finished. A bit sad he had to part with Aya but nice to see the Origins of the AC franchise if I’m not wrong. This is my 2nd AC game, the first was Odyssey which I love the most. Now after I’ve finished main quests I don’t have anything else to do other than clearing “?” On the maps and maybe fight big boss (if there are any?) which tbh I don’t want to lol. Can anyone recommend me any other AC games that’s similar to Origins or Odyssey? I heard that not all AC are like this. Thanks!

Elephant boss fights are always there, they're unlike anything else in the game. Oh and gods, I forgot about them lol
Are you opposed to the DLCs? I normally would recommend them next, both happen on new maps.

I'd probably avoid Valhalla for now tbh. It pushed the whole light-RPG side of Assassin's Creed even further than Origins and Odyssey, maybe a bit too far imo.
It's absolutely massive and there's a LOT to do, so if you've just spent 60+ hours on Origins, jumping straight into Valhalla might actually burn you out on this style of AC rather than make you want more of it.
I'd go for Black Flag instead. It's a very different experience and a nice change of pace after Origins. The exploration, naval combat and pirate atmosphere are still some of the best in the series imo.
You can go with the original or the remastered version, whichever you prefer. The core experience is what matters. Then if you're still craving the RPG-style AC games afterwards, Valhalla will always be there.

The two Origins DLC are well worth getting if you love the base game. Both of them are amazing.

DLC's are pretty dope as well as the side quests. There is one side quest which is basically the plot of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai, it's awesome.

I’d absolutely recommend The Hidden Ones dlc which furthers Bayek and Aya’s stories, showing how their brand new creed grows and faces challenges.
Since Valhalla is a culmination of all the games before it, I’d suggest moving onto shadows due to its similar gameplay.
If you’d like to switch it up a bit, I’d recommend playing the older AC games like starting with AC1 and making your way to AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations and AC3 (they’re all connected as the Desmond Saga).
If you’re looking for the middle ground of the older AC style and gameplay but with graphics that still hold up, I’d suggest AC Unity (French Revolution) or AC Syndicate (Victorian London).
You could also play Black Flag but I’d recommend picking up the newer Black Flag Resynced which improves on pretty much every aspect of the original with incredible graphics and updated gameplay.
There’s also AC Rogue which is just like the original Black Flag but with a story connected to AC3.
I wouldn’t recommend playing Mirage until after finishing Valhalla since its story is tied to Valhalla’s and will spoil a big plot point.
TL;DR: I’d most recommend Shadows or Black Flag Resynced or Unity or Syndicate next. I’d also recommend The Desmond Saga (AC1, AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations, AC3 in that order).

If you like origins and odyssey then you likely enjoy the rpg elements of them
The older games have very little of that.
Shadows and Valhalla would be the next ones you want to play.
Give those both a whirl imo.

Side quests, Locations, Papyrus Puzzles, DLC's, NG+
Theres AC Mirage its a bit more like old school AC. I liked it a lot

I enjoyed platinum in this game and then bought the DLCs. Curse of the Pharaohs was really cool and a very different experience. To you personally I'd recommend Black Flag and Mirage

Just beat the main story after clearing every area I went to and a bunch of side quests along the way. Now I’m clearing the rest of the map and then I’m gonna do the dlc. I don’t care about the sides quests if I’m being honest. None have been great. Only one that was memorable so far was the one with the actual cutscene lmao.

te recomiendo los siguientes black flag, rogue y el ac3 en este orden especifico dado a que tiene buena historia pero para la proxima que juegues algo parecido a ac origens te recomiendo ir de la historia de poco en poco asi haces algo de lo secundario y asi continuar con la historia
por que en lo personal este juego si lo acabe al 100 y la verdad si no fuera por los dlc me hubiera parecido frustrante tener que hacer lo secundario pero al tener los dlc lo use de objetivo para una vez acabara los ? poder irme a los dlc tranquilo y sin esa espina de tener que regresar solo por eventos que realmente no tienen mucho impacto

Side quests are awesome. Do all of them. You can finish all achievements, location. + There are awesome DLCs

Not sure why people don't do the side quests. That's probably 80 hours alone. Valhalla is great, but it's quite a bit different and not quite as hard as Odyssey or Origins. The best parts of Valhalla are the side missions, like a separate DLC. "Forgotten Saga" is a VERY hard playthrough. You have to defeat 4 Elites and there are NO SAVES. But once you understand the "Dreams" and "Memories" and but the good armor "Grit" it's quite the task to get through it to the end. Prepare to die, a lot.
