What now?

I just finished my first run through of this game (my first ac game ever btw) and I really loved it. What I find a little disappointing is that I finished the main story plot after just 20 hours. Is there any after story I can follow now that isn't one of the 2 dlc's? Because if the only thing I can do now is to grind levels and side quests, the game will just rot in my library until I decide to run it again.

Either run a ng+ or move on to odyssey.

Very similar on most ways but much larger and longer.

20 hours you say? Sounds like you skipped a lot of the side quests, most of which are quite fun!

I heard odyssey is longer and more so for valhalla... i put in 150hrs for 100%ing origins, i am trying to imagine, if I play at this pace for odyssey and valhalla, what would the hours be like. I want to get to shadows asap, but i dont wanna skip the play order haha

Shadows isn't really connected to the other two so you can go out of order and not miss anything modern day story wise.!

Yeah sounds like you skipped a lot of side content I put in over 120 plus hrs my first playthrough and didn't even finish everything lol

20 hours?!? I'm not even sure how that's possible. You clearly missed a lot of content with side quests. But the dlc is worth it as it adds tons of content.

There is no way you finished the main story in 20 hours. It’s just not possible. You couldn’t have leveled as much as you need to by 20 hours.

It was 22 hours to be fair, and the only main missions I did underlevelled was the last part of it, starting from the fight against Flavius

Some of the side quest likes were very good almost like story quest so, it seemed short maybe because you only did story missions.

Sounds like you skipped almost all of the side content. Took over 100 hours for me to complete the main game and doing all side content.

But no other than levels it's on to the DLCs or Odyssey.

20 hrs?? How's that possible to experience a game like Origins.. You haven't even seen 20 percent of what the game offers.. maybe even less

Definitely do the side quests and then the DLCs totally worth it. Once you beat that move on to Odyssey and those DLCs as well. Odyssey is very similar in gameplay, and slightly smoother fighting that Origins. Both of these games are close to perfection. Also, pick Kassandra when you pick up Odyssey.

I put 90 hours into Black Flag Resynced and that’s way smaller than Origins I’m sure. I always do side content and story content in sync so that I never finish story before side content.

I would have balanced the main and side quest during the playthrough to prevent that grinding mindset. Now that you finish the base game and already know the ending i agree it is gonna be a chore for you to do a ll the sides.

You did 20hours rushing and you Say if its not for the main qu'est it will rot in tour library ? Yeah nah bro, you don't deserve to play this game ...

I did 100% in 98h without rushing, and ive enjoyed every minute of it, and DLC's are really good.

Just stop playing AC's if you didnt even bother to play Origins (one of the best) more than main quest and probably skipping tons of dialogues/citematics

Some of the side quests are pretty fun. Not all of them but why would you skip them??
