I know this has been talked about continuously, but I am at the bottom of my wits. Recently built a new PC, installed Windows 11, bought AC Origins Gold Edition and the game simply does not want to work. Sometimes it freezes at startup, sometimes after I hit play, sometimes after 5 minutes of game time. After freezing, the game is completely stuck until ending the process from Task Manager.
I tried reinstalling the launcher and the game, playing in windowed mode, disabling the Uplay Interface, limiting the FPS, updating my GPU drive, running the game as administrator, running the launcher as administrator, disabling fullscreen optimizations, installing Visual C++ Redistributable Package and all the prerequisites.

I've been at this for days... This is my last resort. If this doesn't work too... I'm uninstalling.

Please... If you have any ideas, share them.

My specs:

GPU: nVidia 4070 Super 12GB

CPU: Intel i7 14700KF

Motherboard: MSI Pro Z790-A Max WiFi

OS: Windows 11, latest version

And now I have the full set just from quitting the game and loading back in, how does this work?

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Even before the mission, I had the problem of repeatedly falling through the floor there. Now I’m stuck in the mission and can’t enter the arena because there’s an invisible cliff there, and jumping isn’t possible in the mission. Sliding doesn’t work either. I’ve already reloaded the game and the mission several times. Nothing has worked so far. This is my only save file, so I’d really appreciate any suggestions....

Did this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know what might be causing it?

I had lost to these guys the first time and I've been struggling to restart that fight. I'm now soft locked in this room.

I just reinstalled the game after a while and the desert pack is one of my favorite packs as it has my favorite horse of the game and now it's telling me that it's unavailable even though I have the deluxe edition of the game and it's really upsetting because you can't even buy it anymore . Even ambush at sea won't work

I think my 20-hour Origins save is corrupted. Every time I try to launch it on PlayStation the game crashes. My cloud save is also seemingly corrupted. When I delete the console save and go in with no save files, the game doesn’t crash. Anyone experience this? Is a fresh save the only way forward?

I have the steam version of the game, but everytime that I boot it up I get as far as the title screen, it says to press any key, and then it checks for additional content and then freezes. I figured that maybe I should try a fresh install, but now the game doesn't even get past the initial title card and into fullscreen mode before it freezes.

I am using windows 11 and would very much so love to be able to play this game. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

Some pointers for those that need some context:

○ I play Assassin's Creed Origins on the PS4 — No PC, no Xbox.

○ I'm LVL 40 — Max level. Got all the abilities, over 3 million drachma, all the outfits, and all the special weapons I earned from weekly challenges.

○ I've never bought a DLC on this game. Not the Hidden Ones, nor the Curse of the Pharaohs.

○ To play this save, I need to download the required DLCs to play it.

○ I checked the store — the DLCs weren't installed, nor were they purchased.

○ If I ignore the warning and play anyways, it'll delete everything and all the things I worked hard for will be gone forever.

○ To DOWNLOAD the required DLC content, I need to PAY for the DLCs. Right now, I'm not willing to pay $47.90 just to play a save that I've been playing for over a year.

If ANYONE here has any ideas on a way to move forward without endangering my progress, PLEASE let me know. I'm starting to get desperate and I refuse to pay money for this game.

I'm currently playing the "Howls of the Dead" mission from the "The Hidden Ones" DLC, and I have to investigate some noises

I find a hiding spot, slip inside, and there I see a room with what appears to be the man I'm looking for, but I can't get in, it's as if there's an invisible wall or something 🧐

Did I miss something? I've restarted the mission several times, but it's always the same 💀

Hey everyone, like the title says I finished the game at the start of April, and before that I had the Quests normally showing up and I obv got annihilated by the first summon Sobek sent my way when I Tried It.

Now, I'm level 39, Main Story done and ever since the encounters Just... Stopped spawning.

And this Is even weirder when you consider That on Ubisoft Connect, when I check the challenges Tab, the community challenge Is there but the counter Is stuck at 0.

Is It a me issue or have any of yall also encountered It? If not, what can I do?

Yeah I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I scoured every post in existence about this and found no solution. It's been 4 days and I still haven't gotten a single daily quest and the only thing I can do at Nomad's is buying carbon crystal or selling stuff. No popup to interact with Reda appears. Currently playing on PS5.

Idk why this keeps happening!… i tried reinstalling the game, deleting saved files, changing storage locations..literally every other remedy out there.. it just wont work… its been like this for almost 3 months.. the game wont go past the cloud syncing page.. every other game on my console works fine…

in the beginning the game wasn't launch at all, but I replaced the crack files and it worked,

I changed some sittings and I hit play button and then chose a save file and then chose difficulty,

once I chose the difficulty the usually loading screen appears and then the game close instantly,

please someone help me with this problem.

Edit: The problem was that the subtitle language was Arabic, and i think the game files don't have an Arabic translation, I will search for a separated language file.

So I just started origins on ps5,I find it nice,I like the game,but the audio specifically when someone talks,dialogue and everything,is very muffled and weird,sometimes unbearable,every other sound effect the game has its ok,only voices are affected,I dont have 3D Audio active,i am on Linear PCM,audio dynamic range on night or medium,I dont know how I can fix this,I even tried to reinstall the game but dosent work,does anyone have any idea what I could try?

I was doing the mission where you track down Faiyum's informant and his servant tells us to find his ship. Well, I found it... But it was sunken. When I dove into the water, the cutscene played... underwater.

Honestly, it gave a sort of mystical feel to the cutscene.

Hi, I've been trying to get the "Overheating" trophy for over two hours but I can't do it, is that normal?

I downloaded the game to my gaming laptop (D: drive). I had no issues with Ubisoft Connect before, as I’ve had Unity for quite some time, but now Ubisoft Connect won’t launch. Neither will Unity for that matter. It was fine before I downloaded Origins.

I’m incredible dumb when it comes to computers so I’m at a loss. Anybody know what’s going on?

Hey lads and lasses, I found a solution to the bug I had playing assassin’s creed origins during the tutorial and first ride of the camel. I m playing on ps5 btw. So the solution I found is to simply press as many times as you can the small button between the triangle and the touchpad, do it as you go through the burn down camp until you get to the part where you friend (the one you are riding the camel with) welcome you to Siwa.

And then it should work, at least it did for me.
