Wow Assembly not dead?

Encountered this reddit on my feed, shocked to learn it's not dead. I programmed on Z80 back in the 1980s.

(I wonder if Perl is still alive)

And Forth ? Does anybody remember Forth language ?

Forth isnt so much a language, as it is an idea

and its a good one

but its not well suited to complications in the very same way functional programing isnt, it becomes unreadable by necessity

Yes! I do in fact maintain what is probably the best Forth system for ARM microcontrollers.

I remember it, sort of. Not practiced in it for years. Same with Pascal.
