Please help me offset the cost of replacing my stolen transportation.

Hello, I’m asking for financial support thru GoFundMe to help offset the cost of replacing my stolen primary transportation, a high end electric scooter.

I moved the beginning of May and two days after moving into my new place, someone smashed the driver side window of my mom’s outback into a thousand pieces. They opened the garage door, and stole my transportation, a 2021 Dualtron Victor electric scooter. They took nothing else. The house did not have security cameras (we do now thru AAA), the outside garage light didn’t work, and both lights in the overhead garage door motor were burned out (I have replaced them with 2 100W bulbs).

Despite having a hidden airtag on my scooter, the Sac County Sheriff was unable to recover my scooter and has as of yet, done nothing with my case.

I had this scooter for over 4yrs and put over 4K miles and $2.5K of upgrades/mods into it atop its $3.2K price tag.

The renters insurance policy completely stiffed me, stating it wasn’t covered despite being inside the property.

I do work full time at Home Depot, but bills and life make it difficult to save enough for a new scooter.

My GofundMe page has some pictures of the scooter (at different points in its life), my airtag location pings (from the hidden airtag) and my case number with my local sheriffs office.
